There's a large police presence outside of a home in downtown Kelowna, but RCMP are tight-lipped about what is going on.
Heavily-armed members of the RCMP emergency response team could be seen outside a 700-block of Cawston Avenue today, March 28.
A police dog was on the scene, and there were no shots fired.
Cawston Avenue and Wilson Avenue were closed between Ethel Street and Richter Street but were reopened shortly after 1 p.m.
Because the investigation is ongoing, RCMP told iNFOnews.ca no information will be released to the public at this time.
