If you’re feeling a bit disgruntled or angry with the provincial government you’re not alone. Angus Reid surveyed British Columbians to find out where they stand on politics these days and this is what they found.
Here are the numbers:
41: Per cent approve of Premier David Eby.
28: Per cent approve of BC Conservative leader John Rustad.
29: Per cent said the province is on the right track.
11: Per cent said U.S. tariffs and Donald Trump are the most important issue.
50: Per cent of folks in B.C. under 35 said housing affordability was a top issue, and only 26 per cent of people over 55 said the same.
54: Per cent of British Columbians see the cost of living and inflation as a top political issue.
74: Per cent said the government is doing a poor job of handling inflation.
50: Per cent in the Interior plan on voting BC Conservative.
14: Per cent of men in the province plan to vote BC Conservative compared to women, at 51 per cent and 37 per cent respectively.
