Now it’s time to reminisce about the bluebird powder days and hot chocolates.
Here are the numbers:
5.4 million: Chairlift rides at Big White Ski Resort, that’s one person taking one trip up the lift.
2: Ski patrol incidents per more than 1,000 skier visits to Big White.
9,600: Skiers at Big White on its busiest day.
47,000: Pounds of french fries sold at Big White.
400: Kilograms of explosives used to move snow and prevent avalanches at Big White.
9,100: Hand and toe warmers sold at Big White.
120: Days in the Apex Mountain Resort season.
134: Days in the SilverStar Mountain resort season.
141: Days in the Sun Peaks Resort season.
500: Centimetres of snowfall on average at Apex.
