While the skies tend to be cloudy in the winter in Kamloops and the Okanagan, some recent overnight conditions have allowed for sky watchers to snap some stunning photographs.  Millions of stars, constellations, meteors and even several planets can be spotted in clear night skies, and sometimes the Northern lights make an appearance.  Well-known outdoor photographer Dennis Kitto found some aurora activity at Cooney Bay in Kamloops at 3 a.m. on Feb. 27.  "I'll be heading out again, but I honestly don't know about the aurora activity or when it'll happen," he said. "I just go out there and keep my eyes open and see what I come up with."
