Kamloops RCMP responded to a motel in Sahali after a man showed up at the hospital with stab wounds Monday evening. Police went to the hospital to investigate when the man arrived at the hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds around 5:45 p.m., April 14, according to a press release from Kamloops RCMP. The victim had allegedly gone to a motel room in the 500-block of Columbia Street West to buy some drugs. Once he was inside he was assaulted by two men. Officers with a Police Dog Service Unit went to the motel room where the stabbing happened but no one was there. Police stayed on the scene while they got a search warrant then executed it. The first suspect has been described as a shorter male wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, dark glasses, black ski mask and a ball hat. The second suspect is a taller man who was in all black with some yellow and yellow on his hat. Anyone who witnessed or has information, including security video that may be related to this investigation has been asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2025-10953.
