Kelowna RCMP investigating two deaths at Upper Mission home

Two people are dead and a third is in Kelowna hospital in critical condition after what RCMP are calling a "serious crime."

Officers were called to a home in the Upper Mission area of Kelowna last night, June 8. Two people were dead and a third person was taken to hospital.

Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Const. Mike Della-Paolera told iNFOnews.ca said the person taken to hospital was in critical condition. He didn't know what their condition is today.

Police issued a news release last night after they were called to the Swan Drive home for a "serious crime."

No other details were provided, other than assurance there was no risk to public safety.

Const. Della-Paolera did not provide additional details but said RCMP are planning to hold a news conference later today.

It's not clear if anyone has been arrested.
