One arrest following suspicious death in Kelowna home

Police are on the scene of a suspicious death in Kelowna and one person was taken into custody. Kelowna RCMP responded to a police incident in the 400-block of Perth Road around 3 a.m. today, Sept. 17, according to a press release from police. Officers are still on the scene investigating a suspicious death in a residence. “One person has been taken into custody in connection to the incident. We believe this is an isolated matter and there is no increased risk to public safety,” Sgt. Laura Pollock said in the release. The investigation is ongoing and police are not releasing more information.
