Overlanders Bridge closed by RCMP for investigation

RCMP have closed the Overlanders Bridge in Kamloops to vehicles and pedestrians until further notice. Kamloops RCMP responded to a weapons report around 2 p.m. today, April 11, in the area of Tranquille Road and Fortune Drive today, April 11, according to a press release. The bridge is closed while police are in the area and residents have been asked to avoid the area. RCMP aren't releasing any more information to the public at this time.
