A road in Kamloops is closed for the time being after a BC Transit bus and a fuel truck collided.
Police are on the scene of the collision in the 900-block of Ord Road. The crash happened around 10:50 a.m. today, Oct. 1, according to a press release from Kamloops RCMP.
The road is closed between Westsyde Road at 8 Street and Singh Road at Ord Road.
Police and Kamloops Fire Rescue are on the scene. RCMP did not say whether anyone was injured.
“We are asking people to please avoid the area as first responders are on scene investigating the cause of the crash,” Cpl. Dana Napier said in the release.
Anyone who saw the crash or has dash camera footage of the incident has been asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2025 – 32756.
