In 2021, Const. Miranda, along with 150 other officers, was formally recognized for his exceptional efforts in saving lives by using Naloxone.
RCMP members are subject to the RCMP Code of Conduct both on and off duty, and contraventions can have lasting consequences if allegations are established.
Officers can face dismissal, suspension and lost wages if allegations are established.
Much like the court process, RCMP Conduct hearings are open to the public.
