Kamloops area man sentenced for 3D printing 'ghost' guns

A judge sent a Kamloops-area man to prison after he was caught 3D printing so-call ghost guns. The illegal guns landed Adrian Picketts-Yoxall a three-and-a-half year sentence after a hearing on July 30. Initially facing six firearms-related charges, Picketts-Yoxall pleaded guilty this spring to one count each of firearms manufacturing and possession of a firearm. "The illegal manufacture of firearms poses a serious threat to our communities. This sentencing sends a clear message — we will not tolerate the production of untraceable weapons," gang squad spokesperson Cpl. Sarbjit K. Sangha said in a news release.
