which is currently at 460 hectares. Evacuation alerts over Cantilever Bar wildfire have been imposed by Thompson-Nicola Regional District and three local First Nations communities. The BC Wildfire Service says the fire is highly visible from Highway 1 and motorists should drive with extra caution.
Wildfire smoke conditions can change quickly and vary hour-by-hour.
People have been advised to limit time outdoors, particularly seniors, kids, and people with health conditions.
