Third most expensive home in Central Okanagan sold for $11 million

The sale price for #10 – 180 Sheerwater Court in Kelowna has finally been revealed at just under $11 million.

The house was sold by Jane Hoffman Realty last November but the sale price was not disclosed at that time.

Sale prices get posted on the B.C. Assessment website, which can take a few weeks, but this one just showed up on the site this week.

The 13,000 square foot, five bedroom, eight bathroom house (plus a separate guest house) on 8.5 acres just north of Knox Mountain sold for $10.975 million.

The highest price paid for a house in the Central Okanagan was $12 million for a home on 12990 Pixton Road in Lake Country in August 2019.

Jane Hoffman Realty sold the second-most expensive house at 4800 Lakeshore Road for $11.33 million in February 2021.

The real estate company's website shows 11 current listings for more than $6 million, including the most expensive home for sale in Canada. That’s at 12391 Pixton Road in Lake Country and is listed at $45.88 million.

It also shows 14 homes that have been sold for more than $6 million, including 4800 Lakeshore Drive and #10 – 180 Sheerwater Court, the only two that sold for more than $10 million.

The B.C. Assessment website only posts prices for homes sold in the previous three years so it doesn’t show sale prices for four of the Jane Hoffman Realty listings.

The 10 that are shown, which were sold since 2019, went for a total of $75.2 million. And those are just the properties the firm sold for more than $6 million each.
