The death of a Kamloops man more than a week ago on the North Shore is no longer considered suspicious by RCMP investigators.
Police were called to a report of an unconscious man

at a townhouse in the 600 block of Sidney Avenue on Saturday, June 8.
Officers found the seriously injured man in the home and he was taken to hospital where he died the next day. RCMP said at the time his injuries were caused by blunt force trauma.
Police executed a search warrant at the home as part of the investigation into the man’s sudden death.
“Following the results of the sudden death investigation, police do not suspect criminality was involved in the man’s untimely death,” Kamloops RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in a media release issued today, June 18.
RCMP have not identified the person who died.
The BC Coroners Service continues to investigate the man’s death.
