The hoards of candy seekers should stay dry since the region is not expecting any rain during typical trick-or-treating hours this Halloween. Environment Canada meteorologist Armel Castellan said this Halloween’s weather is pretty typical. “We’ll probably have a few clouds in the hood, but nothing should be lingering from the showers on Wednesday,” he said. “By Thursday, things are going to be more or less dried up.” The most extremely cold Halloween in the B.C. Interior was 1984 where the Okanagan saw lows of roughly -15 C and Kamloops saw -17 C. Kelowna should be mostly cloudy and 7 C when trick-or-treaters set out around 6 p.m. and it will drop to 5 C around 8 p.m., according to The Weather Network forecast.
