Kamloops police are investigating a man’s sudden death since the cause is unknown. Kamloops RCMP responded to an unconscious man at a residence in the 600-block of Sydney Avenue around 3:20 p.m. on June 8, according to a press release from police. Police located the man in the home and he appeared to have serious injuries caused by blunt force trauma. The man was taken to hospital but he died in the early hours of June 9. “As part of the sudden death investigation, police executed a search warrant on the residence to help determine what occurred and if any criminality was suspected,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release. Police and the BC Coroners Service are investigating the man’s death.
