One dead in Highway 97 crash in Peachland

West Kelowna RCMP have confirmed one person died in the car crash on Highway 97 south of Peachland yesterday. Police are still investigating the crash that happened in the 1600-block of Highway 97 https://infotel.ca/inwheels/serious-crash-closes-highway-97-south-of-peachland/it104665 but RCMP and BC Coroner confirmed the death, according to a press release from RCMP. Since the investigation is ongoing police are not releasing the identity of the person killed to provide the family some privacy.
