Kelowna RCMP are still searching for a man who went missing a few weeks ago, and hope trail camera footage can help find him.
Alan Francescutti, 79, went missing on April 16, according to an RCMP press release.
Police are asking the public if anyone has trail cameras in the Dee Lake and Doreen Lake area that might show the road.
“We know hunters sometimes have cameras located on the trails in that area and we are hopeful one of them caught Mr. Francescutti,” Kelowna RCMP missing persons coordinator Const. Brigitte Fodell said in the release.
Francescutti’s black truck was located in the Dee Lake and Doreen Lake area on April 24 and the search has been ongoing ever since.
Central Okanagan Search and Rescue volunteers are going to search the area on foot this weekend.
If anyone has trail cameras in the Dee Lake and Doreen Lake area they are asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 reference the file number 2024-19989.
