Salmon Arm RCMP ask if you've you seen this missing father and his kids
Salmon Arm RCMP are searching for a man who should not have any contact with his kids and need to be returned to their mother. Jeremy Beattie, 44, has four young kids; Dominic, Laveena, Jonathon and Alora. Beattie had been ordered by Family Court to have no contact with his kids, according to a press release from RCMP on July 26. Beattie typically lives away from large centres in an “off-grid” lifestyle, and possesses firearms, RCMP said. “We do not believe there’s an immediate risk to the children; however, Mr. Beattie is now bound by a Family Law Act Protection Order, which has ordered him to return the children to their mother,” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy said in the release. Police said Beattie and his children might be driving in a purple 2007 Chevrolet Uplander with the BC licence plate SM045K. Beattie is described as a 44-year-old Caucasian male, with brown hair and grey eyes. He is 5’9” and weighs 186 lb. Police provided photos of Beattie and his children hoping someone will see them. Anyone with information about his location should not approach him and should call RCMP at 250-832-6044 or call 911.
