Police are releasing few details about what they call a targeted shooting in Vernon early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in a residential neighbourhood at around 2:30 a.m., Sept. 11, according to an RCMP media release.
A home in the 4700 block of Pleasant Valley Road was hit with multiple gun shots. RCMP don’t say home much damage was done to the home.
No injuries were reported to police.
RCMP said the shooting was targeted and not a random act, but didn’t provide any more information.
Anyone who witnessed the shooting or saw anything suspicious at the time of the shooting are asked to call Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 and refer to file #2024-15539.
