Crash closes Highway 97 between West Kelowna and Peachland

A car crash has closed a stretch of Highway 97 between West Kelowna and Peachland this afternoon. DriveBC said the vehicle incident happened between Hardy Street and Renfrew Road closing that 29 kilometre stretch of the highway. No word when the highway will reopen or if there is a detour. West Kelowna RCMP were unable to immediately comment on the situation or provide more information on whether anyone was injured. Check DriveBC https://www.drivebc.ca/  for updates.
