BC Wildfire Service is sending crews to wildfire near Peachland.
The blaze is along Highway 97 south of the town, but details about it are still sparse.
Fire information officer Taylor Colman said it's considered a spot size fire, but more specific details should be available when crews get to the scene.
An initial attack ground crew was en route as of 9:45 a.m., July 17, Colman said.
