Highway 97 is closed in both directions in Peachland as crews fight a wildfire today.
BC Wildfire Service has responded the blaze along Highway 97 south of Peachland, but details about it are still sparse.
Fire information officer Taylor Colman said it's considered a spot size fire, but more specific details will be available once crews make an assessment. An initial attack crew is working the blaze.
Highway 97 is closed in both directions between Brent and Renfrew roads in Peachland, according to DriveBC.
A detour isn't available and vehicles will be turned around in both directions.
