iN VIDEO: Production company points out the 'ridiculous' at Kamloops city hall

A video production company in Kamloops released a comedic video about the ongoing conflicts among local politicians earlier this week, with commentary delivered by a talking puppet. Mastermind Studios has a history of producing in-depth content on current community issues https://infotel.ca/newsitem/kamloops-production-company-takes-innovative-approach-to-addressing-social-disorder/it101914 , but it’s the first time owner Peter Cameron-Inglis has taken a comical approach on local politics. “I’m seeing polarization and a breakdown in communication in Kamloops and it seems to be getting worse,” Cameron-Inglis said. “We’re pointing out the ridiculous to get people chuckling, engaged and hopefully moving toward solutions instead of more problems.” Kamloops city council chambers has been rife with conflict since Mayor Reid Hamer Jackson was elected in October, 2022. We need good people to start exercising their voice but I think it’ll take awhile,” he said. The creation of a second episode is dependant on how well this one resonates.
