Kamloops mayor puts used car lot up for sale as legal bills mount

The mayor of Kamloops is officially selling his used car dealership. Reid Hamer-Jackson's downtown property has been for sale months after he suggested the option was on the table to pay his mounting legal bills. Tru Market Truck and Auto Sales hasn't sold a vehicle since before the 2022 municipal election and the 260 Victoria Street West property is now listed for $5.6 million.
