Warm weather means Kelowna's waterparks are open early
This weekend temperatures are expected to get up to 29 C, but Kelowna residents can beat the heat because the city has opened waterparks early.  Waterparks at City Park, Ben Lee Park, and Quilchena Splash Park are opening today, May 11. All three parks are open daily through the Labour Day long weekend. Parents and guardians are asked to supervise kids at all times since the waterparks are not staffed. The operating hours could change depending on weather conditions.
