The Conservative Party of BC has removed Alexandra Wright as the candidate for Kelowna-Mission.
“Yesterday afternoon the Conservative Party of British Columbia removed Alexandra Wright as a candidate. This decision was made after careful consideration of various factors related to campaign performance and conduct,” the party said in a post on X.
The party took Wright off its roster with a few months left until the provincial election in October.
BC United was quick to comment on social media.

A new BC Conservative candidate for Kelowna-Mission has yet to be announced.
“The Conservative Party remains committed to upholding the highest standards of performance and conduct for all its candidates to ensure effective representation and success in the upcoming elections,” BC Conservatives said.
