Thousands of people swarmed downtown Kelowna to march and celebrate pride. Today was Kelowna’s Pride Festival and it was filled with food, fun, and live entertainment. The day started with a march beginning at Stuart Park at 10 a.m. and ended with a festival in City Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival topped off a week of events celebrating the LGBTQ2AI+ community, but there is still more to come for the rest of pride month. Tomorrow there are going to be at least three events; the pride worship, 50 plus pride picnic, and a drag brunch.
