The body of a man was found near the shoreline of the Thompson River in Kamloops Wednesday evening.
Officers retrieved the body in an area near McArthur Island Park at approximately 5:45 p.m., Sept. 11, according to an RCMP media release.
Police are working to identify the deceased person.
Both the RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file #2024-30277.
