RCMP urgently ask for public’s help to find missing Penticton senior
Penticton RCMP are urgently requesting the public’s help to find a missing 72-year-old Penticton who has short-term memory loss. Preciosa Pires was last seen, July 2, and was reported missing to police today, July 3, according to an RCMP media release. Pires, who goes by the first name Lourdes, speaks Portuguese and due to her short-term memory loss may be confused or disorientated. RCMP describe Pires as a 72-year-old Caucasian female, 5’2” tall, 135 lb. with a slender to medium build, brown eyes and short white hair. She was last seen wearing a grey short sleeve shirt, black pants and pink flip-flops. Police are concerned for her health and well being. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
