Central Okanagan Search and Rescue proposed bringing on a team of feline rescue specialists. Strapping cats into harnesses then hoisting them with drones to help track people down. They would of course be compensated with head scratches and canned tuna.
Patrick Murphy in Summerland had some people convinced the government was introducing a flume transit system complete with traffic lights. If only the government would put the money up for everyone to ride around on waterslides.
"Incredible news coming out this morning! The historic Summerland FLUME system is being restored to its former glory! The government funded restoration project includes upgrading to waterslide status, with stop/go/entry point signage powered by solar!"
Someone from Penticton posted a photoshopped picture of a boulder on the highway to Facebook. The post must have been too convincing because it was taken down shortly.
A vet clinic in Kamloops combined Easter celebrations with a series of April Fool's Day pranks like bunny footprints around the office and fake spiders hidden in rolled up towels.
