B.C. wide amber alert issued for abducted Fort St. John boy and girl

B.C. wide amber alert issued for abducted Fort St. John boy and girl

An amber alert was sent out to mobile phones across B.C. for two young children who were last seen in the Fort St. John area.

Four-year-old Liam Ballamy and 10-month-old Myra Ballamy were abducted and may be travelling with their mother and father, the Fort St. John RCMP alleges.

The children were last seen at 8919 91st Street Thursday, March 24 around 11 a.m.

Father Jason Dalrymple, a suspect, is 36 and described as balding with light brown hair, he has light brown-reddish moustache and goatee, blue eyes, weighs 200 pounds and stands at five-foot-eleven-inches.

He may be driving a 2004 Oliver green Jeep Cheroke with BC license HT1 84A.

“Do not approach,” the alert warns in capital letters.

Liam is described as four feet tall with dark brownish-black hair and brown eyes. Myra is two feet tall with light hair and blueish-hazel eyes.

In an email alert, the RCMP also ask for help locating the children’s mother, Dawn Bellamy. Police say the also have two dogs and a cat with them.

Dawn is described as five-foot-five-inches Indigenous woman who weight approximately 110 pounds. She is 23 years old, has a scar on her forehead, may be wearing blue glasses, and has long, dark brownish-blask hair.

Anybody who spots them or have information about their whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
