The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has been steaming across the country for the past month decked out with colourful festive lights, and stopping in towns and cities along the way. The Canadian Pacific, now called Canadian Pacific Kansas City, train made whistle stops in the Shuswap, Chase and Kamloops on Friday, Dec. 15, and Saturday, Dec. 16 with live musical performances and lots of holiday cheer. Photographers captured images of the train and its bright lights as it moved through the countryside and over bridges, often creating dazzling reflections on the lakes and rivers. Each year the brightly lit train makes its way across the U.S. and Canada on the CPKC network with the aim of spreading festive cheer and raising money to help tackle for food insecurity.
