A Port Alberni native known for competing on American Idol and creating a solid fan base on TikTok is hitting the charts with her latest single.
Lauren Spencer-Smith has 2.8 million followers on the social media platform and her teaser for her latest single Fingers Crossed got 3.6 million views when it was published back in November.
Currently the single is listed as number 27 out of the top 100 songs in the U.S.A., according to Apple Music. Spencer-Smith also reported earlier this week that it made it to the number one spot on the iTunes charts.
Fingers Crossed, released Jan. 5, is also sitting at number 19 on out of Spotify’s Top 50 Global songs. The song has been streamed more than eight million times on Spotify.
Spencer-Smith made it to the top 20 on American Idol before she was eliminated.
