Jann Arden, Tom Cochrane to headline return of Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival

Two staples of Canadian adult contemporary music will be headlining the 2022 Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival – Tom Cochrane and Jann Arden.

This summer’s event, Aug. 18 to 21, will be the 30th anniversary and the return of the festival as COVID pandemic restrictions ease.

Cochrane’s signature song is Life is a Highway. Arden’s best-known hits are Insensitive and Could I be Your Girl.

Past headliners have included Jim Cuddy, the Sheepdogs and the Trews.

Organizers announced the headliners earlier today, March 1, in a media release.

Ruthie Foster, Shred Kelly, William Prince, Five Alarm Funk, Antibalas, C.J. Chenier, Northern Cree, Piqsiq, Cedric Burnside, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Son Rompe Pera, The Blue and Gold, Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar and The McDades are also scheduled to perform at the festival.

Tickets can be purchased through the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival website here and they cost $90 per day or $190 for the three-day weekend.
