Kelowna RCMP ask for help to find missing couple
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a couple missing from downtown Kelowna. Katrina Brown, 18, and Isaac Saari, 24, were last spoken to on Jan. 8 and Jan. 17, respectively and haven’t been heard from since, according to an RCMP media release. The couple are last seen together on Jan. 11, in the 1500 block of Banks Road. Police say both are believed to be homeless but usually remain in contact with family and friends. It’s considered out of character and there’s concern for their well being. RCMP describe Brown as a First Nations female, 5’5” tall, 106 lb. with brown eyes and black hair possibly with a red streak. She was last seen wearing dark grey pants, a long black jacket, grey toque and black high-top shoes. Police describe Saari as a Caucasian male, 6’ tall, 160 lb. with brown eyes although he often wears coloured contacts and shoulder-length brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey and black jacket, red patterned jeans, black high-top shoes, a burgundy toque and black-rimmed glasses.
