Vernon RCMP ask for help to find missing woman

Vernon RCMP are asking the public's help in locating a missing 33-year-old woman.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP says Heather Ann Harris was last seen in Vernon, Dec. 23.

Police are concerned for her wellbeing and believe she may be trying to hitchhike or attempting to get a ride from Vernon to Kelowna.

RCMP describe Harris as a 33-year-old Caucasian female, 5'5" in height, weighing 135 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a floral patterned shirt and dark-coloured pants.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen her to contact their local police or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
