South Main Street in Penticton is closed to non-local traffic this morning while fire crews take care of a structure fire. The building appeared to be an apartment complex that was under construction. There were black spots all over the snow on neighbouring properties from the embers....

South Main Street in Penticton is closed to non-local traffic this morning while fire crews take care of a structure fire.
The building appeared to be an apartment complex that was under construction.
There were black spots all over the snow on neighbouring properties from the embers.
At least a dozen firefighters were on scene as well as several police officers.
A call to Penticton’s fire chief has not yet been returned.
