Highway 33 closed near Kelowna after multiple vehicle crash
Highway 33 is closed in both directions following a collision near Kelowna early this morning. There was a collision involving multiple vehicles on Highway 33 between Peregrine Road and Philpot Road around 1 a.m. on Feb. 10, according to a press release from RCMP. Police are investigating the incident but have not said whether anyone was injured in the crash.  “Due to the severity of this collision and the on-going investigation, the RCMP are advising that Highway 33 has been closed in both directions until this part of the investigation has been concluded,” Const. Mike Della-Paolera said in the release. There is no detour available for travellers to Big White, RCMP are advising people to take Highway 97 and go through Osoyoos to get to Rock Creek.
