A 46-year-old Kamloops man is facing charges after he was caught throwing rocks at children in a playground on Tuesday.
Officers were called at approximately 12:15 p.m., July 25, to a playground in the 200 block of St. Paul Street after a complaint about a man throwing rocks and yelling at children, according to an RCMP media release. RCMP don't say if anyone was hurt during the rock throwing incident.
A suspect was arrested and held for a bail hearing, RCMP said.
Ali Bedjaoui, 46, is facing a charge of mischief and causing a disturbance.
He appeared in court Wednesday and will remain behind bars until his next court appearance in court Friday.
