The Kelowna RCMP arrested a man who appeared to be in crisis yesterday. Police received multiple reports about a man displaying aggressive, “assaultive behaviour” near Bernard Avenue and Abbott Street around 5 p.m. on March 16, according to a press release.  Officers were dispatched and located the man. “The male was safely taken into custody,” Sgt. Judith Bertrand said in the release. “There is no reason to believe that the public is at risk.” The investigation is ongoing but RCMP did not reveal whether the man is still in custody.
