Kelowna RCMP ask for help to find high-risk missing person
Kelowna RCMP are hoping the public can help them find a missing 41-year-old man. RCMP officers were called for a wellbeing check for Andrew Costea today, July 10, arising from a voicemail he had left earlier this morning, according to an RCMP media release. He wasn’t home when police arrived and his vehicle, a black 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan with BC license plate VF737M, was gone. He has links to the Beaverdell area and is known to travel to Peachland, RCMP said. People driving rural roads in the area are asked to keep an eye out for his Volkswagen. RCMP describe Costea as a 41-year-old Caucasian male, 6’ tall, 150 lb. with brown hair, brown eyes and facial hair. His family are concerned for his well being. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or observe his vehicle, are asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file number 2024-38491.
