Patients and staff have been safely evacuated.
Call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department at Royal Inland Hospital or Kelowna General Hospital if you need emergency care.

Fortis B.C. was called to the building early this morning and the cause of the odour reported was not gas-related and there were no gas readings outside hospital, Diana Sorace with Fortis said.
If residents need emergency care, they are being asked to call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency departments at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops or Kelowna General Hospital.
The Merritt Fire Department said the incident has been turned over to Interior Health.
