Salmon Arm RCMP are asking for help in finding the car and driver who struck and seriously injured a woman in Salmon Arm last week. Police have released two new photos of the suspect vehicle that was travelling westbound of 5 Avenue SW in Salmon Arm between 7:49 p.m. and 7:52 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. It did not appear to slow down after the collision. The vehicle apparently turned south onto 5 Street SW after hitting the woman. The victim, is a woman in her 40’s, who was taken to hospital by ambulance with significant but non-life threatening injuries.
