Okanagan craft distillery finds delicious way to support Ukraine

If you want to support Ukraine, here's one way to help while also sticking it to Vladimir Putin: buy locally made Vodka with proceeds going to Ukraine.

Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery, which has locations in Kelowna and Vernon, will be donating the proceeds from vodka sales in March to the people of Ukraine, who are currently fending off an invasion by Russia.

“And we are hoping to inspire our wonderful spirits community to join in,” reads a media release from the company.

It could be a good time to explore new vodkas for anybody whose favourite Russian beverages are no longer for sale at B.C. liquor stores

Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery has three lines of vodka which are all for sale in denominations of 1.75 litres, 750 ml, 375 ml, and 50 ml. The Ukraine Emergency fund through Canada's branch of the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR will receive 100% of the proceeds.

These fundraising efforts will “hopefully help make this horrific situation a little better for the families affected,” Okanagan Spirits says.
