Okanagan pizzeria ranks among Canada's top spots to eat outside

Patio season will soon be in full swing starting with the Victoria Day long weekend approaching, and diners are spoiled in the Okanagan, where some of Canada’s most popular restaurants for outdoor dining can be found.

OpenTable, an online reservation service, has ranked five Okanagan restaurants in the top 100 across the country for eating outside.

The list includes Shaughnessy's Cove in Summerland and Terrace Restaurant at Mission Hill Family Estate in West Kelowna.

In Kelowna, the Old Vines Restaurant at Quails' Gate Estate Winery made the top 100, as well as one casual establishment – the DunnEnzies Pizza in the Lower Mission.

DunnEnzies was given a special mention for being pet-friendly.

And Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery in Lake Country was also named.

“We expect this list of 100 Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining to be the season’s go-to resource for those exploring spots in their own backyard or planning travel throughout the country.”

The list of Canada’s 100 best restaurants for outdoor dining includes 21 from British Columbia. OpenTable compiled it by analyzing 820,963 reviews from between March 1, 2021 and Feb. 28, 2022.
