RCMP ask for public's help to identify Penticton credit card thief

Penticton RCMP are asking the public for help to identify a suspect using stolen credit cards.

The suspect entered the workplace of the credit card owner and stole their purse back on Nov. 9, 2021, according to an RCMP media release issued today, Feb. 15.

The victim’s credit cards were then used in multiple locations across the city.

"We are turning to the public in an effort to positively identify the person captured in surveillance video,” Penticton RCMP Const. Dayne Lyons said in the release. “If you know who this is or you are the person in this photograph, please come forward to police.”

Police describe the suspect as a 40-year-old female, 5"10' tall, 100 lb. with a thin build and brown shoulder-length hair.
