Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 49-year-old man.
Colin Hurrell was reported missing to police on Tuesday, July 2, after failing to connect with family and friends, according to an RCMP media release issued today, July 8.
He was last seen driving his pickup truck and trailer eastbound on East Trans-Canada Highway in Kamloops.
“Police and Colin’s family and friends are concerned for his well-being and are reaching out to the public to try and connect with someone who has recently come into contact with Colin or his truck and trailer,” RCMP spokesperson Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
“It’s possible that he may be staying in his trailer in the Kamloops or Chase area, and we’re asking anyone with information to please reach out as soon as possible.”
RCMP describe Hurrell as a 49-year-old Caucasian male, 5’10” tall, 210 lb. with a closely shaved head.
He drives a lifted white for F-250 pickup with BC licence VL4505 and pulls a white fifth wheel Tango RV trailer with Alberta licence 6PP811.
Anyone with information about the missing person or his vehicles is asked to call their local police or Kamloops rural RCMP at 250-314-1800 and reference file 2024-20880.
