Drivers are being asked to avoid Highway 1 between Tobiano and Savona this morning after two semi-trucks have crashed.
Const. Crystal Evelyn, media relations officer with the Kamloops RCMP, said the public should use an alternative route this morning, Jan. 21, as early reports indicate a collision involving two semi-trucks occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Delays are expected and the public is being asked to avoid the area, she said, in a press release.
The Kamloops RCMP will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
