Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 62-year-old Kamloops man. Brett Drake has been missing since approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, when he left his residence and has not been heard from since, according to an RCMP press release. CP Police found his truck, a blue full-size 2022 Chevrolet Silverado with two snowmobiles in the back, on Highway 1 East near Savona yesterday morning, Feb 7. It was stuck at the edge of a steep embankment. Kamloops Search and Rescue volunteers, a police dog and drone were deployed to the area but he wasn't found, police said. The search continues today. RCMP describe Drake as a 62-year-old Caucasian male, 5’10” tall, 160 lb. with grey hair and blue eyes. Investigators are appealing to the public for information including sightings of Drake or his truck between 8 p.m., Feb 6, and 7:30 a.m., Feb 7. Police are asking the public for any information or video that may help locate Brett, including any sightings of him or his truck, between the time he left home at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and the time his vehicle was discovered around 7:30 a.m., Wednesday. Anyone with information on the missing person is asked to please call the Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP at 250-314-1800.
